It’s a small world….The story starts in Little Neck, NY on August 23rd the day Veronica was born. Veronica was the oldest in her family, which included her two brothers and sister. Veronica’s dream growing up was to become a nurse. She always enjoyed taking care of her brothers and sister. When Veronica finished high school she began to make her dream a reality! Veronica attended college and graduated as a Nurse.
Veronica and her husband Tom were married in a beautiful ceremony. Together
they had two children, Cathleen Mary and Timothy Patrick. Veronica and Tom raised their family in Smithtown. There Tom worked as a 5th grade teacher and Veronica was the school nurse in Hauppauge Elementary School. <That sparked a thought for me; I had to interrupt Veronica’s story. I told her that my father was a student at that elementary school. She asked me to call him and it turns out that she indeed was my father’s elementary school’s nurse-Small world! Now back to Veronica>Veronica worked at the Hauppauge Elementary School for 44 years. She really enjoyed going to work, meeting a lot of people and doing what she loves.
Veronica loves living at The Lake Shore. She has met some really interesting people here. She picked the Lake Shore because of all the wonderful activities. If you want to say “Hi” to Veronica you can find her in the 1st floor lounge watching the TV or just wheeling around.
