Let’s Talk Recreation for November 09

Another holiday season is quickly approaching. Soon our calendars will be overflowing with holiday parties, shopping trips, preparing our homes for family gatherings and putting up decorations to make this time of year feel festive… What is often forgotten in the flurry of seasonal activity is that the best gift doesn’t have a lofty price tag nor can it be found in any catalog or store. It doesn’t require fancy wrapping paper of special delivery. The gift of our time is the most precious present we have to give. During this holiday season try to find time to send family and friends a card, also try to make it a point to stop over and spend time together. If we each took the time spent in shopping malls and shared it with a loved one, the holidays would be that much richer for all of us.
As many of you already know The Lake Shore celebrates the holidays by providing a festive environment that reflects the joys of the season. Families and friends are always welcome to join us for our weekly parties, come along on a trip to the theater, and even come to lunch or dinner with us on monthly restaurant adventures. For the month of November we have some really great activities and outings planned. Check your activity calendar each day; you don’t want to miss out on any of the excitement!!
