Let’s Talk Recreation for October 09
Oct 6th, 2009 by admin
Dear Friends,
Autumn in New York – it’s a magical time of year. Warm days of summer give way to crisp, cool days of fall, transforming the state into a breathtaking palette of spectacular colors. September was a delightful month with wonderful weather and some really adventurous activities. One of our favorite highlights from the month was our first time trip to the Bronx Zoo. It was great to see so many Residents enjoying the fresh air, walking around the zoo, taking pictures and even going on a camel ride.
For the month of October your Recreation Department has worked hard on planning a month full of tricks & treats. There have been a few positive changes to the daily activities. Make sure you check the Activity Calendar so that you don’t miss out on a chance to interact with fellow Residents and make new friends!
Family and Friends are invited to our annual Halloween Eve Costume Party on Friday, October 30th. Come enjoy a fun filled evening where anything can happen!! Party starts at 5:30pm in the Main Dining Room. Prizes will be given out to the best dressed. If you are coming please RSVP to the main office before Thursday, October 29th.
Take time this month to enjoy the beauty that comes with Autumn in New York!
Until Next Month,
Your Recreation Staff
